Many large organisations are embarking on an SAP transformation journey, because SAP S/4HANA migration needs to happen by 2027. Expleo’s challenge was to demonstrate how their four key services could help CIOs, wherever they are in the world. They came to Craft Words for copywriting that takes you on a journey.

Collaboration

We pitched together with our friends at the design agency Orangery and were chosen because of our experience in the B2B sector, working with brands like Fast Track, Pycom, and HP. Expleo also needed proven copywriting experts to create a campaign framework and apply their strategic positioning and tone of voice to every piece of communication.

2027 is fast approaching

Expleo delivers engineering, technology and consulting services to organisations in over 30 regions worldwide. They provide business transformation to improve processes and systems excellence and to future-proof them. Guiding companies to complete SAP S/4HANA migration by 2027 is a pressing challenge, and customers are looking to Expleo to lead the way.

Showing the way

We planned a clear customer journey for Expleo’s clients, positioning Expleo as an expert in SAP S/4HANA. Key to this communication was our idea of the ‘#SAPnav’. Using the language of GPS and satellite navigation became a simple way to explain how Expleo are the trusted authority on navigating complicated journeys with effortless clear and simple instructions

Taking clients on a journey

To help position Expleo as the guiding expert, we created a ‘travel guide’ to take clients on the journey to S/4HANA. We created a a free download and a direct mail piece, delivering the top-line benefits of the ‘destination’, with travel alerts along the way.

 

We also helped to create a journey map – a visual guide to help clients understand where they were on their journey and how, where and when Expleo could help them.

Physical as well as digital

Because we appreciate that some clients prefer to read something they can keep on their desks, we created physical as well as digital campaign assets. We created brochures, two-pagers and Q&As as well as a pitch deck to help sales teams tell the story and enable clients to visualise their own journey.

 

Entertainment and engagement

Our campaign was designed to make the S/4HANA transformation process much more entertaining than work in the B2B sector often can be. As a result, engagement was sky-high, with hundreds of clients internationally choosing Expleo to help them on their transformational journey. Which of course, resulted in a very happy client.
