Škoda appreciates that cars are a major purchase. For most people, the only thing they spend more money on is their home. So when it came to promoting their exciting new SUV range they needed a partner who could help potential buyers appreciate the cars’ features. So we created benefit-driven copy that amplified the selling points of their SUV range.

We’ve got good experience in this area, working with brands including SEAT, VW, Jaguar Land Rover and Audi. So together with our friends at TBWA London, we hopped into the driver’s seat and got motoring. 

 

Making car talk clearer

Buying a car is a big deal. Škoda’s customers need to understand all the features of their SUV range, but also feel excited by them. While they grab attention, photographs alone are never going to do enough to get people ‘over the line’. Copy plays a huge part in convincing, reassuring, and inspiring customers.

Capturing the core points

Key to writing convincing copy was understanding the differences for each car in the range. From the Kamiq, to the Karoq, to the Kodiaq. Each is aimed at a different type of driver with different needs. And of course, each model can be customised to individual needs 

Driving the point home

It’s not easy turning car configurations and technical nuances into copy that moves people to action – but at Craft we excel at this. In the end the client was happy we’d clearly and excitingly conveyed the benefits of each of the marques in the SUV range and helped people understand what they were getting for their money.
